RAHS Refunds and Returns Policy

Refund Policy – Membership
Membership payments are non-refundable unless an error has occurred due to the fault of RAHS. In this instance, all steps will be taken to rectify the issue as soon as possible.
If you sign up for annual or bi-annual membership payments, you or your organisation are committing to be a member of the Society until such time as your membership expires and you do not renew it.
Memberships are non-transferable to other people or other organisations.
Refund Policy – Goods
If the product is damaged, we will provide a full refund upon return of the purchased item.
No refunds will be given for digital products. Please ensure you have the technical capacity and software requirements before purchase.
Refund Policy – Events
If you notify us by email or phone more than 7 days before a seminar, course or event (which may include a live online event) that you are unable to attend, you may choose to have a refund issued or nominate a replacement delegate to attend in your stead.
If you notify us by email or phone 7 days or less before a seminar, course or event (which may include a live online event) that you are unable to attend, you may nominate a replacement delegate to attend in your stead. No refund will be issued.
If you need to cancel an event due to COVID-19 or other health emergency, then the above notices are not required, and you will be provided with a refund.
The RAHS reserves the rights to:
- deduct any bank fees, transaction charges or processing fees from the refunded amount.
- provide a partial refund when it has already incurred expenses related to the event.
- to cancel events if minimum booking targets are not reached.
In the event of a cancellation made by the RAHS, you will be entitled to a full refund on your booking.
Refund Policy – Online events
Some RAHS events are conducted by way of video conferences or webinars.
The RAHS cannot issue refunds due to problems you experience with your internet connection, including problems you may experience in connecting to the online event or in the sound or audio quality of the online event.
We are happy to assist you by answering questions up to 24 hours in advance of the event but cannot guarantee that we will have the resources to respond to your problem on the day of the event or during an event.
